Went to bed early last night and woke up early and got up. I had copied one of your links some time ago and was rereading it and it was old but so am I. I really enjoyed what you had to say and understand much more now. If I was working on a 49 Ford no problem. Mine is a 99 Blazer 4x4 four door and has had many problems. I did note that you said your ride was really comfortable. I find this interesting; mine is not. I think a lot of the problem are the roads here in Hawaii. We have earthquakes a lot and the roads are bumpy. We were riding with our friends the other day in their new Honda and it had vibrations also. Thank you for all the time you put in to answering questions.

Hey Les, how's it going? haven't heard from ya in a while but I had another question.
My dad's truck needed a battery and after the install the dual climate control is off.
driver side blowing hot, passenger side cold. It's a 2004 gmc sierra sle. I read where the dealer could initiate a reset with a tech 2 scanner. Will either of the apps do that?
I still have car gauge pro and dash commander.

hello Les, will the car gauge pro android app work on my 95 with obd 1.5 system? I already have the dash command app but it wont pull the info required to check the cam retard setting. will this app work better, thanks.

Hi Chuck, Paul Colucci here. Been gone for a while on vacation and getting my son in college. I`m looking for some assistance on a code reader for this 95 with the OBD 1.5 system. I purchased a actron 9145 scan tool with the aldl cable 9127. from all the research i did this is supposed to be able to read the system but it`s telling me it cannot connect. Do you know or can you direct me to someone who can assist me with this. i need to get this car up and running, I appreciate the help, thanks.

Les, hi my name is Paul (pfc1) it was suggested that i contact you regarding questions about camshaft retard? I have a 95 with a 4.3, it has the aluminum upper plenum. i have a random missfire that i have been throwing money at, here is what i have done. Replaced the distributor with a billet, new AC Delco cap, rotor and plugs, new wires, the egr valve is new as well. I have checked fuel pressure at the pump and the service port and it has passed all of those pressure tests. the original distributor was loose as all get out, i thought it was broke, i just replaced it thinking it was. Any input on this cam retard issue, how can i tell if there is a problem? I have read some of your info on apps available but really it's way over my head. And it has the OBD 1.5 so i cant even hook up my scan tool to it, any help would be appreciated, thanks.
