Since it is my DD I can't afford it to be down for a week for an ls swap, so for now the 4.3 block I have is getting bored in the next week or two,and I'm going to be polishing and porting the heads on my free time at work I will keep updates on the build.

Got the block tore down and every push rod is either tweaked or very bent, both head gaskets had leaks, but no other damage that I could see.

Sorry for the delay in the updates, I have been working 50-60 hrs a week and haven't had the time to tinker. I almost have the intake ported and polished. The heads are getting worked over at a machine shop. I have picked the Cam I will be using it's a Lunati street strip kit that will give me around .450-.525 lift and a loppey idle. I am undecided on pistons. I will be putting a mpfi in place of the csfi.

Why in the world do you want a lopy idle?

It's not going to be a big lope, but enough to keep the curve at 900-6500rpm. I do track my blazer so I am going for around 300-400 hp on the build

It's been almost a year now. What happened? How does it run? I've always been a v8 guy but a built v6 intrigues me.
