Default 2002 Blazer P0440 & P0449 codes SES Light

Someone PLEASE HELP!.....My 2002 Blazer 4dr. 4wd. 6cyl keeps giving P0440 & P0449 codes. The SES light of course goes on as well. I was first told it's the gas cap, but it tested ok. From the bits and pieses I can find on the web it seems to be something with the evap vent solenoid, or something like that. I am very mechanical and if someone can give me a little help with these codes I'm sure I cn handle the repair. If I know the location of the part that needs replacing and all. Can anyone assist please???

P0440 - Evaporative Emission Control System
P0449 - EVAP Canister Vent Solenoid Valve Control Circuit

As far as the location or PNs, CLICK HERE. A quick search of "EVAP vent" turned up many results.

Thanks for the quick response Kyle. I'll drop the tire and replace the solenoid. I see the price is under $15.00 at Rockauto.com, not bad at all.

An aside: Do you happen to know if the rear wiper washer line runs under the vehicle as well? The pump sounds like it's working but nothing comes out, and I don't see any leaking out from anywhere. I'm thinking there's a kink in the fluid line somewhere after the tank and in before the wiper.

It actually runs through the interior.

Thanks Again!
Well I can live without the rear washer, I'm not about to rip the inside apart (makes me all itchy just thinking about it).
I'll get cracking on the solenoid and don't worry....I'll be back if it doesn't work!!!!

Peace.
