Default bottom ball joint

I recently replaced my ball joints on both sides within a year. I have a 1989 and they were original so I thought it was time. I had never done it before so it was definitely a learning experience. I did the passenger side first and it gave me the most trouble. The tire on the passenger side stayed flat and it set for a few months after I finished them. The problem I'm having is that probably due to the flat tire the ball joint seeded at a slight angle making my tire lean at an angle. I was told it would be fine but it bothered me so I replaced it. Well the new ball joint basically went in like the old one and won't budge anymore no matter what I do. The only difference is that the new one has a little less lip. Basically the side closest to the frame going to the back has a lip that I can get a finger tip in between the control arm and the ball joint. I buttoned everything back up and it looks a lot better. I like to get second opinions because there is always someone who knows more than me. Will this be fine or will the slight angle have a large affect on handling and tires? What would make that pop out? Is the ball joint ok? I may add that I think the control arm is the reason it seeds like that and I know to fix it flush would mean replacing it and i don't have the tool to compress the spring to be able to do it.

Hoebob, please let the forum know some more info on your Blazer in order to give you a better answer. IOW it would help to know whether it is a 2WD or a 4WD vehicle and whether you have done any mod's to it. So you don't have to remember to put that in your post, you can put all the pertinent info in your signature and it will automagically be posted on every post.
