Default Bolt head size for 2000 LT 4x4 front shocks?

Posted this below in general and then saw the "post in appropriate subsection" post (oooops).
Anyway what is the proper wrench size for the front shock bolts on a 2000 LT 4x4? I fit a 3/4" on it but it seems just a bit loose - is it metric? Don't have a that big of a metric to check with... would hate to round it off as it is a bit stubborn [:'(]

I believe it is 18mm which is ~0.746 inch... It is close enough to use a 3/4" socket, but an open ended wrench or 12pt box end wrench may be pushing it if you have to apply a ton of force to get it apart.

Thanks for the speedy reply - the 3/4 sockets are 6 point so I may give it a try <fingers crossed>

Actually, sorry, I screwed up my conversion... 18mm == 0.708" so there is a bit more of a difference. 19mm is very close to 3/4". I mistakenly typed 19mm when I converted it...

So yeah, you'll want to try and find some 18mm wrenches or sockets. Sorry for the confusion.

Well the 3/4 six-point worked for getting one side off -- I'm inside cooling off before putting it back on (93 degrees here in OKC today) going back for the other as soon as I'm ready

Got 'er done ... with only one scrape and one slightly smashed fingernail - not too bad all things considered. Also did a little recon for my next adventure - replacing the front wheel hubs (there will be a new thread on that soon). Overall the 3/4 six-points worked ok - just a little on the loose side. Those flaps protecting the engine compartment on top were a royal PITA - felt like cutting them off but instead folded them up, in and out of the way for the most part - problem was they were so brittle they nearly broke off anyway.
