Default 02 Blazer Squeak in front end

Very odd squeak coming from my front drivers side. Just replaced front shocks and idler arm and noise is still there. Got no idea what it could be. Ive been told ball joints, tie rods, bearing, etc but its all brand new within the past 1000 miles. SAVE ME!! Noise happens when I hit a bump, stop, and i can the damn thing and it squeaks. Its driving both myself and my girl nuts when we drive around. I had an idea of lower ball joint but its brand new. ANY IDEAS?

Look at the anti-sway bar grommets. Try some silicon grease on them.

Nope. I'm still trying to locate the source of my front and rear squeaks when I go over a bump.

Ok so wasnt ball joints or sway links. My buddy said it may be bushing for lower control arm? Any way to condition those or lube them?? I really do not want to tear that apart and put on new ones.

Mine is doing the same thing, even to the point when I open the DS door it creeks. It's going in tomorrow to get the upper control arm bushings replaced. Been told they're an issue on Blazers. If it isn't them they'll find out whats making the noise & I'll post the findings.

ok, got the upper control arm bushings replaced today, both sides because the PS was on it's way out too. Squeek is gone!!!
While it was there I had them replace both front bearing hub assemblies because the PS was toast & it's just good to replace in pairs. And I got the pitman arm replaced with a TRW I had supplied because of the play in the wheels. (idler was replaced last summer with a Spicer)

Ah sounds good. I had mine checked and they are 100 percent positive its the lower ball joint on drivers side. Going to replace that as soon as the weather breaks and gets sunny.

Default a frame

Mine did the same but on both sides. But what it was on mine was the upper a-frame bushings. Theres two bushings check them out. Also spray some WD40 on them really good. Drive it around and if it doesn't make any noise then you need new upper a-frame bushings. They were about 7 bucks for two at the local auto store. Downside of it is you need a gear press to press them back in. Luckily I have one. It did solve the squeeking noise and it sounds like that could be your problem
