Fuel pump has no power. fuse box doesn't list fuel pump. Which fuse is it?
Oh, it's a 1991 S-10 V-6.

 

Try the ECMB 15 amp fuse. Probably not the problem but at lrast I'll give you credit for starting in the right place. You can jump around the fuse safely. Let us know if it's not the fuse and I'll tell you how. Just don't have time right now to explain.

new wire from fuel pump to "Where"? Not sure where the relay is located or how to test.

 

There is a connectorin the vacinity of the blower resister on the right firewall and it goes straight to the fuel pump. The jumper wire should have a amp fuse in line and you can bypass all of your fuel pu,p wiring and hit the pump with 12volts to see if it's working. It's called the fuel pump prime connector and the wire is gray. You'll know it because nothing is hooked to it. Jump this with straight to the battery and you should hear the pump run. You might want to first make sure your fuel pump & sender grounds are OK. They come off the top of the tank and the wire is black in color. Forget therelay for now and just see if the pump runs. If it does there are two relays on the upper left side of the firewall. Just swap them and that will check the relay. Another way to see what's going on is to crank the engine until you get some oil pressure to check the oil pressure witch (which the pump circuit runs throigh) and the engine should start. I live for this stuff. By the way your pump wire runs off the ECNB fuse (15 amp) and you'll see it's an Orange wire into thee relay and gray coming out. From there it splits and one goes straight to the pump and the other goes to the fuel pump prime connection. If you're getting 55 - 61 psi it's the wrong pump. TBI engines only put out about 19 - 20 psi. You should have that. Any more and you're flooding the engine. If your gas guage works then the pump ground is probably OK since they share the same ground. What is the fuel pressure?
