Default P0341 And P0339

Hi guys this is my first post ive been having some trouble with my 97 4.3 5spd. 2dr blazer. The codes i keep geting are a p0341 and p0339 . I bought it needing work and got all other stuff fixed and still cant figure out whats goin on! I replaced both the cam and crank sensors. Does this mean i need a case/crank relearn done or should it be ok? its got a miss at around 2grand or so under lite pedal and sometimes even when really geting on it im stumped and the couple mechanics ive talked to dont know nothing about the case/crank relearn procedure.Ive done some searching on here and can't seem to answer my questions. Any help would be much appreciated!

P0339 - CKP (crankshaft position) Sensor Circuit Intermittent
P0341 - CMP (camshaft position) Sensor A Circuit Range/Performance

Take a look at the links above. See if you can find a common failure point between the two sensors. For instance, both sensors are grounded through the PCM. If the PCM were to loose its ground, the sensors may drop out. This condition can be quite intermittent. A scan tool with live data monitoring could be used to watch the sensors and see if there are any drop outs during operation.

I would also say that you should test the wiring from both sensors to the appropriate location on the PCM. The wiring diagrams in the links above are from a 2000 and the PCM used in 1997 is different. I'll see if I can find the appropriate diagram for your truck for PCM terminal references.

You can also search for the codes to see what others have come across if you haven't already. Just remember, that's a zero, not an 'O' after the 'P'.

Yeah i looked at them just wondering if there was anything that i was missing and wondering if the crank relearn was possibly my problem. Ill have to check the wires. i didnt know the 2000 pcm plug wires are different than my 97. If u could come up with that would help me out cause im not the best with wiring to begin with lol!
