Default 95 Blazer V6 4.3 L Vortec Engine

I am still new to this forum so forgive me if this isn't in its right place. I have had great luck in reading information from this site. Thank you!

I now have another issue at hand. My blazer was running, it just stalled out while driving it down the highway. I put in gas, thinking it was out even though it wasn't. I got it to sputter at about 20-25mph to where I needed to go, but it ran rough. Let it sit through the gig, loaded up came out it started great. I let it idle for twenty minutes and left. I only got about ten miles up the road and it sputtered, stalled and then just died out. Same thing next day, started up and only made it about another ten miles. Put a new EGR on it, new fuel filter. Started it up again, and it idled for another twenty minutes with no problems. On the road again, but only for about another 10 or 15 miles. It sputtered when I gave it gas to excel, then it just died. Towed it home, now it just turns over and will not start.( It has a new battery.)

I can hear the fuel pump when I turn the key on. I've pressure tested the fpr, I have no pressure at the schrader (sp) valve. When I removed the tester, there was fuel coming out of the valve, not a lot, but some. Is this my fuel pump regulator?

I also put new spark plugs, wires, distributor cap, rotor. Ignition coil tested good. It's getting spark, I am totally lost here. Again, I can hear the fuel pump priming.

All the members on here are awesome, full of ideas and knowledge and I thank you now for any help!

My 1995 Chevy S10 Blazer did that this summer. I replaced the crankshaft sensor then it ran alot better don't sputter no more. It right by crankshaft pulley on side of it and it only have 1 bolt. You have to go under the truck to get it out and replace it. Hope that help your problem.

Sounds like it may be your fuel pump. A bad fuel pump may deliver enough fuel to idle, but not enough under load...

Plus if you did do the crankshaft sensor and still do that then it your fuel pump. That happen to me when I put in new crankshaft sensor then 2 months later my fuel pump went out 150 miles away from home.

Ok, tried a new crankshaft sensor. No go. Hmmm. I definitely can hear the fuel pump coming on. Could it still be not working, even if I hear it priming?

Thanks to all that helped trouble shoot my 95 Chevy Blazer! It turned out to be that I had another bad spider system, and then part of the "nut-kit" broke off and I couldn't see it. That was fun replacing that! She runs now!!! Thank you again!
