fuel pump not getting power
hey guys i recently had some fuel related problems with my 2002 zr2 2dr blazer stock 4.3 vortec 4x4 the truck cranks but will not start its done this last year and i replaced the fuel pump with a new one my dad recently took it out and it quit on him i was just looking for some steps and diagnosis help to findout what the problem is any help is apreciated thanks.

In the underhood fuse block, locate the FP fuse and relay, check fuse. if both sides have 12v, find relay.. the adjacent one is the horn relay. Make sure they are same relay and swap. Still no FP, then have asst turn key to on and see if FP relay clicks.
If clicks, locate pin 87 socket.. be careful you have to transpose from side to bottom of relay then to relay connector in fuse block. Make sure!!!
Once sure no voltage on that socket, ohm it to frame/chassis/batt grd. Should be less than 10 ohms

what brand did you use ?
aftermarket pumps last around that time line in these trucks
some last 2 weeks to 9 or 12 months
We recommend you use delco or delphi brands
Edit: when you say you hope its not the pump
did you test the harness at the tank for power ?????
