Hi all,
I just bought a 1998 S-10 Blazer and I'm new to this forum. My problem is the digital gear indicator in the cluster keeps flickering on and off. I'm checking the obvious connections and grounds. I'm looking for that "I had that same problem and this is what it was" kind of ideas. Any other not so ordinary kind of ideas would be greatly appreciated.

 

I typed in the google search box:

That's exactly the stuff I'm looking for! Thanks Pettyfog! I did do some searching but without success. I knew if I asked here, I'd get some good answers. I'm going to be pulling the cluster out tomorrow to check. Like I said, I just bought it and just realized that the radio display also flickers on and off with the gear indicator so I'll have to figure out what they have in common and where to find it. I'll update tomorrow night.
